With the California drought entering multiple years, rain in San Francisco has become something rare and exotic.
In mid-February 2015, the forecast was calling for at least one solid day of rain. Thinking it would provide variety for raw material, I took advantage of the downpour (and downpour it was) to capture some footage. I had surprising fun wrestling with a wind buffeted, golf size umbrella while balancing a video camera and the footage became a testament to that sentiment.
As in Composition 298, I was working to balance multiple planes of movement. In this instance, with more satisfying results.
