Composition 316

With Composition 316 I revisited the images captured at the World War II Memorial in Washington with an eye toward presenting them differently then I had in Compositions 273 and 274.

Whereas, the previous works had been defined by hot colors, heavy grain and overlay, I wanted Composition 316 to rely purely on the images as they are. So, instead of imposing visual structures within the panels, I allowed placement, framing and their relationship to each other along the row of images to establish the rhythm for the composition.
